Trisha Tsui-Chuan Lin (林翠絹) is the Professor of College of Communication, National Chengchi University (NCCU), Taiwan. She was the Associate Dean at College of Communication and the Chair of Department of Radio & Television, NCCU. In addition to Harvard Yenching Visiting Scholar, Professor Lin is an active member in the international communication community and is the Vice President of Chinese Communication Association (中華傳播學會) (2023-2025) and will resume the Presidency in 2025. Professor Lin is a mixed method researcher specializing in Asian new media domain. Serving the editorial board of several prestigious communication journals, she has produced hundreds of new media-related journal articles, book chapters, and international conference papers.

Researching health misinformation and digital literacy in the interdisciplinary Harvard Yenching Institute

I felt honored to have been awarded the Fulbright Senior Scholar Grant (2022-August) to visit the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University. Having received my Ph.D. in the U.S. many years ago, I am very glad to return once again as a Harvard visiting scholar in Boston. It is also a privilege to be selected as the visiting scholar of Harvard Yenching Institute (HYI), a prestigious foundation founded in 1928 and dedicated to advancing Asian higher education by cultivating excellent scholars in humanities and social sciences.
