Layan Ibrahim recently completed her Fulbright Masters grant studying Mind, Brain, and Consciousness at Taipei Medical University. She holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University and a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Global Health from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Prior to starting her Fulbright grant, Layan was selected as a Luce Scholar, where she conducted epidemiological-based epilepsy research in Malaysia. Layan has also had research experiences in hematology and global health, where she published papers in Pediatric Blood & Cancer and Annals of Global Health.
