In her year as a Fulbright Scholar, Professor Margaret Lewis looks at legal reforms, with respect to criminal justice and human rights, on Taiwan’s domestic changes as well as cross-strait relations. Seeing reforms on a day-to-day basis, Professor Margaret Lewis has not only witnessed significant underground changes but also got a better sense of the overall climate in Taiwan.
Margaret Lewis is a law professor at Seton Hall University School of Law. Her research focuses on law in mainland China and Taiwan with an emphasis on criminal justice.
